Join Portsmouth Economic Development leadership for a Project Update Session on the Crawford Bay Waterfront Redevelopment on Wednesday, June 11 from 6:00–7:00 PM at The Mustard Seed Place in downtown Portsmouth.

During this session, attendees will hear updates on the redevelopment process, learn about key project milestones and timelines, and receive a summary of findings gathered during previous community engagement efforts. The session will also introduce the shortlisted development firms and outline next steps for the project.

Community members, residents, business owners, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and stay informed as this transformative waterfront project moves forward.

The City of Portsmouth will be soliciting offers from qualified development teams to redevelop the Crawford Bay waterfront site in Downtown Portsmouth. This approximately 6-acre site is a rare opportunity to introduce new housing, hotel, dining, and public waterfront spaces to the heart of the city while honoring Portsmouth’s history, character, and scale.

Guided by adopted plans and community priorities, the City is taking a thoughtful, transparent approach to shaping a redevelopment opportunity that benefits residents, supports local businesses, and contributes to a vibrant downtown waterfront.
